Assignments:
There will be two bibliographies, one class report, and one
term paper. The topic of the first bibliography will be assigned
by me (10/20). The second will be of your own choice and should
be related to your term paper (12/22). Class report (11/03) is
where you represent some preliminary thoughts on your final
project. The term paper (12-15 pages; 01/20) can be either a
proposal for your MA thesis, or a full paper in itself.
There will also be short weekly papers (around 3 pages). You
are expected to select one or more essays from the week's reading
assignment and critique, develop, and/or summarize its ideas.
