目標：

旨在訓練研究生了解如何使用音樂類參考書籍、期刊、索引、及視聽資料，及論文寫作方法，以達到學術研究目的。

教材：

Duckles, Vincent, and Michael A. Keller. Music Reference and Research Materials. 4^th and revised ed. 1994.

Turbian, Kate L. A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations. 1987.

要求：

每星期均有作業，並做課堂報告，另有期中，期末兩次考試。
